Jets defeat the Boston Bruins 2-1!! What an amazing game. Pavelec is a rockstar. VICTORY!!
taking shape.
The construction of Canadian Museum for Human Rights is really coming along.
Even though the Jets lost last night to the Senators with a final score of 6-4, my two favourite players, Evander Kane and Alex Burmistrov performed really well!
Burmistrov scored a goal for the Jets in the second period and Kane scored two back-to-back goals in the third period.
Kane’s name and number will definitely be on my future Jets jersey. No question about about it. He is absolutely amazing.

Last night, I was working with the Winnipeg Free Press at the Winnipeg’s Gone Wacky amateur comedian competition.
I got paid to watch an hilarious evening of local comedy while being the timekeeper up in the DJ booth (best seats in Essence!)
Ten aspiring comics performed live at essence nightclub and Andrew Lizotte was crowned Winnipeg’s Wackiest Amateur Comedian 2011! He received $1,000 in cash, a BlackBerry Playbook, a signed framed Winnipeg Free Press front page of the Winnipeg Jets by Dustin Byfuglien and the title. The show was hosted by Winnipeg Free Press television critic, Brad Oswald and the judges were Hot 103’s Ace Burpee, comedian Big Daddy Taz and last year’s winner Ryan Ash.
I laughed so hard that tears were streaming down my face and my stomach was aching by the end of the night. Winnipeg definitely has some amazingly talented comedians. Attending this event makes me want to frequent Winnipeg’s comedy clubs every evening. I love laughing. It’s the best medicine.
Check out the entry videos of the top 10 finalist comedians for some good laughs at the link below.
